February's crochet along project is...

For February since the patterns I liked were all pretty small (and Valentine's Day related), I thought maybe instead of voting on one to work on, I would leave it up to you to choose which ones you'd like to make. You can make one or make them all! Either way, you can link up to all of them at the end of February.

Here's the choices. The links will take you to the free pattern:

1) Bake Me a Cake pattern and photo from Bittersweet.

Extra idea: You can crochet a small red ball or use felt to add a cherry on top.

2) Valentine envelope pattern and photo from Lion Brand.

Extra idea: You could add a button, or crochet a small heart to latch shut.
(You will need to sign up for a free account to access this pattern on lionbrand.com)

3) Danish heart pattern and photo from Alipyper.

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below! The whole point of these crochet-alongs is to work together so if you are having problems we can all help each other out!

If you are participating, feel free to grab a button to share the word!
We are also using the hashtag #CrochetAlong to chat about our progress on Twitter.

  6. I am going to have to make them all..... I actually have the cupcakes on my list of things to make. So, now I will have to put that at the top of the list. Love the danish heart, though... I actually may have to make that first... in time for Valentines Day!!!

  8. Mmmmmmm..... cupcakes.... Wait??! I can't eat them?! lol!! I really love the cupcakes because I've never made anything like that before. Usually, I make practical things like scarves and hats so it will be great to make something just for fun!
