Watching: The last episode of Freaks and Geeks. WAAAAAAAHHHH! I can't believe this show was cancelled after only 1 season and 18 episodes. There's so many actors who were casted that are really successful today. I love Bill.
Reading: Tommyknockers by Stephen King. It's definitely not an easy read. I feel like I have ADD when I try to pick up where I left off. The text is so small and the pages are so big and I feel so lost, oh my.
Anticipating: Going out to vote tomorrow and making more granny squares for November's project. Also, I can't wait for those stupid fucking election commercials to end. All they do is lie and bash each other, I can't stand to hear it anymore.
Worrying: About Mabel's strange new growth on her elbow. We noticed last night something that looked like an oversized zit on her elbow and naturally I wanted to squeeze it but I refrained because it looked pretty scary. She needed to go to the vet anyway for her yearly vaccinations so we had the vet look at it and she said it is common in dogs her age and breed. I think she said it was a histiocytoma. Don't google image it, for the love of gawd.
Wanting: A hair cut. I'm pretty close to chopping off a lot and donating to Locks of Love. I just gotta find a salon I'm willing to trust.
Craving: A Mr. Goodbar and a new blog design.
i always cry at the end of freaks and geeks. {i've seen the season in its entirety like a BILLION times.} i'm really emotionally attached to all of the characters and it's actually pretty pathetic of me, now that i think of it.

The Tommyknockers is a really hard book to get into. I found the first half quite a tough read (and a lot of digging). But when it all starts to kick off it's amazing so stick with it. Also Freaks and Geeks is AMAZING! I love it :)
ReplyDeleteAww I hate that freaks and geeks was cancelled! It was such a good show!! I hope mabel is ok! I wouldn't worry too much though, older doggies tend to get scary looking lumps that often turn out to be nothing sinister

ReplyDeleteI just finished Freaks and Geeks last week! I'm not sure how I missed out on it the first time around, but what an AWESOME show! I've since moved on to Undeclared to help my F&G depression, and it's only working a bit. Before that I watched the entirety of Dawson's Creek, seasons 1 - 6, and surprisingly enjoyed it! My 18-year-old self and my 30-year-old self still like some of the same things, haha. Cheers to Locks of Love! Be sure to take a before and after. :)
