October's crochet-along link up!


It's time to share your finished projects from our first crochet along! I'm excited to see how many people joined in. Since this is new to me, I'd love to hear your feedback, comments or suggestions on how to make it better for next time.

Here's my finished rainbow nesting bowls from October's crochet-along.

Pattern: Free pattern from Seriously Daisies.
Yarn used: Lily Sugar N' Cream in colors Mod Pink, Light Blue, Sunshine, Grape, and Hot Green.
Hook used: G

  1. I love your color choices! :) This project was hard for me for some reason in certain areas. I couldn't get the bottom of my bowls to lay completely flat and I also had a bump on the top where I finished off even though I did the invisible finish. :/

    I love love love your bowls! They looks awesome! And your pictures are pretty fabulous too! I planned to check in during October to see how the crochet along was going (I'm thrilled you used my pattern!!) but it was a crazy busy month, and I kept forgetting.

    Today I added an updated version of the pattern, that has rounds 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 written out in a more traditional way. A lot of people were confused by the way I wrote those increase rounds, so I finally decided after answering a bunch of e-mails to just have both versions.

    Anyways, I'm off to check out the other bowls that are linked up!! Hope you're having a great week!! :):):)
