This post reminds me of one of the reasons why I hate going out in public: because of being verbally sexually harassed by strange men regardless of how I look and how much I try to dress down to avoid such thing: How a collective of female friends helped me stand up to street harassment.
This is either the coolest thing ever, or the most dangerous thing ever. I'm going with coolest. People don't let kids have fun anymore and if they do, it makes them bad parents. Your dad built you a treehouse? Nobody cares, this kid got a roller coaster.
That roller coaster is scary as hell but sort of badass.

Love that article about standing up to street harassment. I had a guy in Chicago tell me my "leg tat" was "so sexy" and my legs were "so sexy" and follow me down the block. I'm so bad at telling people to fuck off (and realistically, I shouldn't be the one who's reevaluating MY behavior) so I just kind of laughed nervously and tensed up.
