Would You Rather #8

Wednesday, February 8, 2012

Let's assume that this version of Would You Rather is taking place in high school and not middle or elementary school. I was painfully shy and extremely sensitive to having any kind of attention drawn to myself in high school. Today I'm not as shy but I still hate being the center of attention anywhere. I would easily take a zero on a test than have to read aloud the note that I got caught passing to a friend in class. That would be so traumatizing especially if it were personal, like about a boy or something. I can feel my face getting hot just thinking about it! What would you choose?

19 hellos:

  1. Get caught cheating. Who knows what's in that note...

  2. I was completely shy at school, and would die having to read that note out, but I could never have dealt with getting a zero on a test. I'd have to suck it up, burn bright red, and read out that note (and just hope I could make something up fast enough!)

  3. I would have gone for the zero!! I CAN NOT speak in front of people.

  4. Probably the cheating. You could get pretty embarrassed reading a note you were trying to pass.

  5. I would rather have to read my notes then get caught cheating. I'm an extreme perfectionist when it comes to school. I've always had a loud mouth, and my notes in high school were usually pretty dumb anyway. (I'm proud to say I've never cheated and want to keep it that way!)

  6. Oh my goodness, I used to pass notes in the FRONT ROW (!!!) of my Calculus class. We never got caught! lol

  7. Oh brother, i think i'd go with get caught cheating because what if the note is awful haha!

  8. I really don't know. I was very Hermione-like in school so I'd probably choose to humiliate myself in front of my classmates. I mean, they all made fun of me anyway already so why not!

  9. I would rather read that note out loud instead of going for a zero. I was always a freak about grades...guess I'm a perfectionist as well!

  10. I'd have to say getting caught and getting a zero, I just.. know if I were to have the letter read outloud, it would of said something like "Dude, this teacher is a grotsky biotch" or something ridiculous.

  11. Well it depends. If it was just some fun note or nothing to personal I'd rather read the note out loud. If it was a very personal note though. I would start a huge debate with the teacher...telling him that It's a very personal note and that I rather wouldn't.....being super argumentative and nice and sweet...until he either leaves it alone or throws me out of class because I started fighting with him...

yeah...I was always pretty stubborn ^^

If it's really personal...I'd rather pic zero on the test!

  12. Definitely reading the note!

Even if it was about the teacher or something in the class - I'd be defiant about it & suck it up.

But I'd never even have the guts to cheat - so I can't even imagine getting caught! Eek!

  13. Get caught cheating, because I don't and never have cared much about school haha.

  14. I guess it could be cause I am a guy and nothing in a note that I would have been passing would have amounted to anything so that's prolly what I would rather get caught doing.

  15. As a student in high school, I would DEFINITELY say that I would rather take the zero on the test. My notes, when I was in the public school with my friends, were not usually things I would want read aloud!! At my alternative school, I don't keep close friendships nor do we have tests, so it's a bit of an irrelevant question there. But at the public school, I didn't care whatsoever about my grades. (That's changed now.)

  16. I would rather have to read the note, I would probably have done it in a dramatic comedic style even at the time.

I couldn't cheat it would have made me feel guilty for years.

  17. I would definitely choose having the note being read out loud. For me, cheating and getting caught would be more embarrassing than anything I could possibly write in a note. Also, most kids are going through the same stuff, so maybe the note wouldn't be so shocking. :)

  18. Definitely the test. I HATE being the center of attention. Even on my birthday and especially at work.

  19. Get caught cheating. I would NOT want to be the center of attention like that.
