Seven Links

Tuesday, December 27, 2011

I saw this post on KJ Pugs many months ago and thought now - with the end of the year drawing near - would be the perfect time and way to sum up my blog for 2011. It looks like you are supposed to be tagged but I don't care. I'm hijacking it! However, I traced this challenge back to this blog so if you want to play by the rules, visit there. Basically there are 7 categories and you pick one blog post that fits for each category. Here we go!

Most Beautiful

I think the pictures from the post of my sister's wedding are the most beautiful.I think it has something to do with, oh, having a professional take them!

Most Popular

The most popular post this year was getting you lurkers to come out and introduce yourself! It was nice to hear from you guys.

Most Controversial
I didn't get any negative feedback for this post, but I suppose the image I included could be considered controversial ;)

Most Helpful

I think my most helpful post was Things To Blog About which is a long list about, well, things to blog about when you have writers block!

A Post Whose Success Surprised Me

That would be the post Movies I Wished I Never Watched. Usually the happy posts get the most views and comments but this one held it's own.

A Post I Feel Didn't Get the Attention It Deserved
That would be my Project 52 posts. I think after everyone got over the novelty of it, anytime I put Project 52 in the post title, it just caused people to skip over it. So towards the end of the year I just wouldn't put Project 52 in the title anymore. I still had fun doing it because it was a personal challenge to follow through with all year.

Post I'm Most Proud Of

That would be my Kindle Review post. Because of that post, I was told by several readers that they either bought a Kindle or were seriously considering purchasing one in the future.

5 hellos:

  1. Great recap :) I bookmarked the "What to Blog About Post" just in case the writer's block comes a-knockin'. :)

  2. Great recap of the year! :) There are a few I didn't get a chance to read, so I'll have to do that!

I can reply to your comments right here now! I may not be able to respond to each one but I read them all and appreciate your taking the time to do so :)
