I've been thinking recently about how many of you guys are out there that subscribe to my blog but may have never commented before. If you're a lurker, or don't comment often, I want to meet you! And even if I do "know" you, feel free to drop a line too! Here, I'll start...

- I like cheese, reading, the smell of wet dirt, and collecting succulents for my patio garden.
- My favorite TV shows are True Blood, Dexter, The Walking Dead, and The Twilight Zone.
- My favorite movies are Coraline, Alice in Wonderland, Fight Club, 28 Days Later, Star Wars, Dumb & - Dumber, and Best in Show.
- My favorite colors are green and blue and I especially love a mixture of the two.
- I'm a homebody who would rather stay in with a movie and good beer than go out to the bars to party.
- I tend to be a very emotional person but I like it that way.
- I love chocolate.
- I'm addicted to lip gloss and get anxious if I realize I forgot to bring some or put it in my purse.
- I have pretty bad road rage.
- I would love to live in the middle of nowhere with a huge fenced in yard so our dogs can run around and play.
- I like dogs almost more than humans ;)
- I'm shy at first when I meet someone new and it takes a while for me to trust you to show my true self.

* Despite my desire to be a hermit in a cave, I have made some of the best friends ever in Louisiana - they are my beady buddies and 2 of them are my Bead Moms :o) They've even turned me into a hugger! They're great folks and really are like family!

Hi Alycia, I guess I am half a lurker as I do not comment too often. But I DO read your blog daily. You are clever and energetic - two things I feed off of. I guess I just get tired of the same ol' buzz from the rest of the hive. Anyhow, keep posting because I will keep reading. BTW - I am in the Pet neighborhood of Blogville and my alter ego is NOODLES. I'm pretty mood swingable, depending on when I last ate and how much sleep I am getting. So I can be nice or incredibly bitchy depending on how things are going!
I like to read lots and lots (fanfiction too...). I love science fiction and fantasy movies and TV. Doctor Who and Merlin the big ones at the moment! And Castle! :D

- I'm 24 years old, live in a small village in Belgium together with my boyfriend and 2 cats (sadly, my bunny died last year)
- I moved away from the place I lived for 23 years to live with my boyfriend, who has his own company. I don’t regret it at all, because my maybe future family in law is awesome and takes good care of me.
- I'm a graphic designer, and just like you, I had my share in good and hell jobs.
- My favorite food is pasta, pizza and French fries (they should call them Belgian fries because we obviously have the best). I also have to confess that everything with cheese or chocolate on it is divine.
- my favorite TV shows are Doctor Who, Desperate housewives and many more, but I know I urgently should be watching some other great stuff (like Dexter, Mad men, …)
- I can’t start naming all my favorite movies. I like all the Disney and Pixar movies (Monsters inc. and Lilo and Stitch are my all time favorites).

I'm a full-time graphic designer at a marketing agency and I run a small Etsy shop. My husband just finished school for massage therapy and our hopes are that once he finds a job in his field I'll be able to stay home and run my shop full-time. Which I'd love because I'd be able to stay home in my pjs and be with my dogs all day!
Alycia! We already sort of "know" each other, but this is a great idea. I've thought about posting something to my own blog about the lurkers. Every once in a while, I'll get an email from a devout reader that has never, ever commented. Strange. Anyhow, I love your blog, I love the new design, and I am pretty much in love with Monty. I live with my husband and my two dogs Hailey (5) & Vorenus (1.5). Monty almost has the same facial structure and fur colour as one of my dog Hailey, which I often think that they're seperated at birth, 5 years apart. If you haven't already know, I love beauty cosmetics and can't get enough of them... I know, it's an unhealthy addiction! ^_^

ReplyDelete-I'm Lindsay and I live in Florida(orlando-ish area) with my boyfriend David and our 6 pets plus one foster. Oh yeah we live in a one bedroom apartment and its not big. But we manage!
-I have two husky mixes (River and Wynnie), two cats (EV and Catriana), two bearded dragons (Kylie and Ebeneezer) and one 6 week old foster kitten (story posted on talknerdytomelover.com and soon to be on my blog). So yeah my apartment is a zoo, I call it my menagerie. :)
-My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 5 years (May is our anniversary!)
-I love art, animals, craft/DIY, reading, music, technology(so that includes all my "gadgets" computers, cameras, etc), nature. My favorite plants are succulents because I can't (so far) kill them.
-Apparently Alycia and I have a lot in common (I wish you lived near by!) I love all colors but my favorite ones tend to be earthy, like blues and greens. I too (and the bf) would rather do something at home then go out. I have the same dream of living somewhere with a huge yard and my dogs. Animals > People. Road rage...yup! I have super super bad road rage. I drive over 30 miles round trip to work everyday.
-My favorite TV shows are Big Bang Theory, Bones, Modern Family, 30 Rock, Wilfred, The Office, and other funny or cynical type stuff. Awkward humor yay!
-I can be very emotional too. I try to stay "zen" as much as possible as its better for you and helps keep negative energy from keeping you down. But certain things tend to effect me more than others and I can get really riled up, however I generally calm down pretty quickly. I also have a chemical imbalance (happy brain chemicals) which I take meds for so I can have stupid mood swings.
-Who doesn't love chocolate? ok, I know a few people, but dude, you guys are weird! Love you tho!!
-I can be shy or very outgoing depending on my mood (and if there is alcohol or mj involved haha), but generally I can tell when someone is cool and I'll warm up quickly.
-Empathy...its a bitch sometimes.
-I'm a veterinary technician and have been for the past 12 years. I love it!
-My favorite crafts are crochet, sewing, painting, and wire wrapped jewelry. I also love DIY stuff. I hate buying things if I can make it myself. Although my project list (pile) is getting long (large).

ReplyDeleteI love cheese, chocolate and reading, I'd rather stay in too and I love dogs! I also have pretty bad road rage, which is impressive as I can't drive... so I guess its sympathetic road rage.
